Ingredients
- 1-2 each Onions, Vadalia, Fresh (any onions will work) Sliced thin.
- 1 tbsp. Butter, Salted
- 1 tbsp. Canola Oil
- 1/4 tsp. Sea Salt
- 1/4 tsp. Sugar, Granulated
- 1 dash Paprika

Instructions
- In a heavy sauté pan: Add the Butter and Oil, and begin to heat.
- When the butter is melted, but not brown, add the Onions.
- Sprinkle with the Salt, Paprika and Sugar.
- Stir with a wooden spoon and let cook.
- Keep cooking on medium heat, stirring occasionally, until deep brown. This takes anywhere between 30 minutes and an hour, so be patient, it's worth it.
Recipe Notes
Variation: To span things up a little, add a dash of Balsamic Vinegar at the end for a more Sweet & Sour affair.
